MACRO TEXTURE COLLECTION:
The name MACRO TEXTURE was developed to explain that all the images in the collection are shot at very close range displaying amazing texture, and all are found in nature. This is a niche where I intentionally chose square dimensions, such as a 12x12, 16x16, or 20x20. I believe it gives my art a modern element.
I took this photograph with a Nikon D3100 and a 300mm zoom lens. I like the symmetry of the grass and the edge of the creek. I am a big fan of natural elements and I thought the composition of this would be a good way to display a place we might have all seen but not looked at the same way.
