MACRO TEXTURE COLLECTION:
The name MACRO TEXTURE was developed to explain that all the images in the collection are shot at very close range displaying amazing texture, and all are found in nature. This is a niche where I intentionally chose square dimensions, such as a 12x12, 16x16, or 20x20. I believe it gives my art a modern element.
I took this photograph with a Nikon D50 and a 300mm zoom lens. This is a great shot of the mineral drips at Pictured Rocks in Munising, Mi. I was on a boat when I took this shot, trying to steady my camera and I love the way the sun sparkles on the wet wonder. Nature painted this for me, I was just lucky to be there.
