MACRO TEXTURE COLLECTION:
The name MACRO TEXTURE was developed to explain that all the images in the collection are shot at very close range displaying amazing texture, and all are found in nature. This is a niche where I intentionally chose square dimensions, such as a 12x12, 16x16, or 20x20. I believe it gives my art a modern element.
I took this photograph with a Nikon D3100 with a 300mm zoom lens. I was at a lake in Michigan and wanted to catch the fog rolling in at dusk. The water was reflecting these gorgeous blue like tones and I elt like I was on another planet.
