MACRO TEXTURE COLLECTION:
The name MACRO TEXTURE was developed to explain that all the images in the collection are shot at very close range displaying amazing texture, and all are found in nature. This is a niche where I intentionally chose square dimensions, such as a 12x12, 16x16, or 20x20. I believe it gives my art a modern element.
I took this photograph with a Nikon D3100 and a 300mm zoom lens. The Grand River was reflecting some of nature's fall colors and I loved the way the ripples made a soft texture on the surface.
