MACRO TEXTURE COLLECTION:
The name MACRO TEXTURE was developed to explain that all the images in the collection are shot at very close range displaying amazing texture, and all are found in nature. This is a niche where I intentionally chose square dimensions, such as a 12x12, 16x16, or 20x20. I believe it gives my art a modern element.
I took this photograph with a Nikon D3100 and a 300mm zoom lens. So, I dig Lily pads, and the sun was bouncing off these at such a pretty pace I had to snap a few close-ups. This was on the Cass River in Michigan, and I got so wrapped up in the scenary that I locked my keys in my car that day...with the phone of course. So...I took a few more pictures and made my way to the nearest site of humanity.
